Gwendolyn Lantagne
Community Engagement & Communications Assistant

Gwendolyn Lantagne, a HUB Steward Leadership Program graduate, is the St. Johnsbury Community HUB’s Community Engagement & Communications Assistant. Gwendolyn has been working in the human services field for three years and is passionate about seeing collective and systematic change in our communities. Growing up in the NEK, Gwendolyn has had the opportunity to see firsthand the parts of our community needing improvement and engagement.  She is deeply vested in bridging connections and advocating for community members. In this position she hopes to contribute to the NEK in a way that promotes positive development for everyone. During her first experience at HUB Central she confronted unexpected discomfort that was immediately addressed by the Good Neighbor Agreements, allowing for a conversation and deeper understanding for all involved.  Even now, two years after that moment, feeling respected and acknowledged without judgment, reminds her that the five agreements make it possible for her and others to share space despite discomfort and differences.
